Mr Ed Park, Chairman
Mr Ed Park serves the Board of Healthpoint Services Global. He is also the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Athenahealth. Mr. Park is a member of the Advanced Interoperability Workgroup of the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) and also serves of the boards of Castlight Health, Inc. Mr. Park has obtained a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Harvard College in Computer Science.
Amit Jain, Indian, Social Business Entrepreneur
Amit Jain has got the opportunity to invest more than 19 enriching years in incubating and leading projects and social business enterprises while remaining an avid practitioner in Social Business Enterprises. Amit Jain is the Founder and CEO of HealthPoint business model acclaimed internationally. He has worked, mentored and incubated various Social Marketing businesses serving the BOP communities in Health-care , Environment , Water & Sanitation, Livelihood & Skill-development , Organic Farming , Nutrition(Mid-day Meal), Education (Grade Competency Enhancement), Environment management , with leading organizations in the Private/Corporate, Public Sector, Consultancy, Not-For-Profit and Financial Services sectors across India and Internationally, with specific domain experience in Social Marketing Behavior Change , Innovative Public Private Partnership Models, Community-based Rural Networks , Supply-chain management , Social Impact and social business start-ups. He established a unique Health Products Social Marketing network across 50,000 villages at HLL Lifecare Limited and anchored Naandi Foundation’s Water business from inception to 400 units reaching-out to 3 million people in 2.5 years while working as President & COO, thereby establishing the popular Decentralized Water Kiosk Model which has been adopted by several state governments, Corporate CSR divisions and is getting adopted in other countries as well. Prior to that, he worked with the Aditya Birla Group , Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC), & Unit Trust of India Investor Services Ltd (UTI ISL). Amit has varied international travel experience which has vastly aided his work across various formats.
Amit’s work in the Water & Health sectors has become case studies at the Harvard Business School & at the Michigan University as also a specially-commissioned field-study on the venture has been aired at NPR (National Public Radio), USA ; winner of the Changemakers & Robert F Johnson Foundation Award 2012 ; has been featured as “Young Turk” by CNBC TV18 , is winner of the Global Changemakers with Ashoka for Water Program ; recently Outlook Business recognized him as a leading Social Entrepreneur; Amit has been recognized as one of the Top Young Social Entrepreneurs in India in 2012 & 2013 by Action For India (AFI) ; he has featured in several other media and communication platforms.
He is the Interim Chairman at Action For India (AFI) www.actionforindia.org and also a Charter Member of TiE. Amit is also the Chief Mentor & Advisor to Jaldoot www.jaldoot.org), an award winning Women-entrepreneurship & Livelihood generation project in Safe Drinking Water domain. Amit is the Founder & Board Member of Health4All Neerog Nidhee (H4ANN), a Not-for-Profit organization working in Primary Health , Safe Drinking Water and Sanitation areas. Amit has been regularly invited by various leading business schools to deliver lectures on Social Entrepreneurship/Social Marketing/Rural Marketing ;

Dr Allen Hammond, Co-Founder
Dr Allen has been a serial entrepreneur (5 prior startups in areas like public understanding of science, publishing, and rural internet access), one of the founders of the Base of the Pyramid concept alongwith Dr. CK Prahalad, author of the landmark analysis, The Next 4 Billion. Has spent past 10 years with scalable business models for low-income communities. Has been a Consultant and Advisor to several corporate and Public sector organizations. Dr. Hammond has published extensively in thought-leader publications and technical journals. Globally acclaimed speaker on Market-based Solutions for Developmental issues. Visiting faculty at various leading business schools; BS Engineering, Stanford; PhD Applied Math, Harvard.He is currently the director of the Health for All program and a member of the Leadership Group at Ashoka.
Dr Karl “Charly” Kleissner, Ex-Chairman
Dr Charly Kleissner is an impact investor and philanthropic entrepreneur utilizing his high technology background in his venture philanthropy. Together with his wife Lisa he co-founded KL Felicitas Foundation (www.klfelicitasfoundation.org), which focuses on (a) enabling social entrepreneurs and social enterprises worldwide, and (b) on advocating impact investing. Dr. Kleissner co-founded Social-Impact International (www.social-impact.org), which helps social entrepreneurs worldwide to accelerate and increase their social impact. Dr. Kleissner also co-founded Toniic (www.toniic.com), a global network of action-oriented impact investors. Dr. Kleissner serves on the Advisory Board of the not-for-profit companies Global Social Benefit Incubator and Hub Company. Dr. Kleissner is supporting multiple social venture and micro financing funds committed to double and triple bottom line returns. He serves on the Board of ImpactAssets and is the chairman of ImpactAsset’s Investment Committee; he serves on the Advisory Council of MicroVest, Ennovent, and Acumen Capital Markets I. Dr. Kleissner also serves on the Board of Dasra.
